A RARE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH BRYAN KETT!
Sometimes the hardest part of writing a story is getting that first draft down so you can have something to mold, shape, and revise. But certain techniques and considerations can help set up each draft for success.
Join brilliant storyteller Bryan Kett for four fantastic hours of creating, molding, crafting true, personal stories. Bryan is a Moth Slam and Grand Slam champion who has designed his own methods for storytelling success.
This workshop is specifically formed to get you ready for live storytelling opportunities for the rest of the year. Each participant will craft a new story from scratch that aligns with the themes for one of the 2024 Moth StorySLAMs.
DISCUSSION & COURSEWORK WILL FOCUS ON:
• A nuanced look at story structure
• Using specific moments for stories
• The importance of specificity, transformation, and gratitude in storytelling
• Incorporating emotion in each beat of your story
• Infusing levity into your story
• Universal applicability and theme within your story
And more!
Bryan is most famous for his masterfully humorous and touching stories, and he will share his techniques and insider tips while offering custom feedback.
Each participant will also receive a free 30-minute private session with Bryan!
This opportunity is valued at over $300. However, we are offering it for half price and limiting to eight participants to ensure accessibility and personal attention. Two additional people will be able to audit the class for a lower price.
Join us for this very special class!
