This exciting blast of a class will focus on learning on-your-feet performance skills which can improve presentation, narrative structure, confidence, and connecting with your audience. You’ll learn to develop your authentic “voice” using Dee’s personalized improv techniques; and you'll build lifelong skills. Many people use improv to become better speakers, performers, presenters, and storytellers.
All are welcome in this class, whether you’ve taken improv before or never set foot on a stage! This class includes four weeks of instruction and practice, then a rehearsal and a final class showcase in which friends may join.
Northwestern professor Dee Ryan joins Story Jam Studio after several decades of performing and teaching at Second City in Chicago and LA.
