In the spirit of a college or grad-level writing class, The Writing Room features topnotch writing and storytelling instructors who focus on various elements of non-fiction and personal essay crafting.
Each week, we invite a skilled instructor to share an array of techniques and samples—along with relevant prompts and feedback—with an intimate group of online writers and storytellers. Participants are guaranteed to receive wisdom and ample time to craft while sharpening skills in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The class is designed to allow participants the chance to create a new piece each week. However, everyone is also welcome to bring in a work in progress. Writers come from all backgrounds and experience levels, from new live lit tellers to pros. The instructors are college professors, professional writers, veteran coaches, and storytelling superstars.
This particular series is on Fridays. There is also a Wednesday group.
